The brief

A one-woman fairytale needed an invitation, not a website.

Enchanted Princess Parties is one performer, six gowns, and a calendar of San Diego birthdays. Kids meet their favorite princess; parents get songs, stories, royal games, and face painting that show up on time. The site had to work on both audiences at once — wonder for one, confidence for the other.

The rule we set: storybook, not clip-art. A painted castle instead of stock balloons, gold leaf instead of glitter GIFs, and every shimmer earning its place — one wand, one pair of gates, one trail of stardust.

What was built

A castle that moves

The hero is a painted twilight castle that breathes — a five-second film under 500KB, poster-first so it opens instantly on the phone of a parent at a playground. The headline does the selling: “Bring the magic to your doorstep.”

The Royal Court

Six princesses — the Ice Queen of Arendell, the Rose Princess, the Ocean Princess and their sisters — in a scroll-pinned coverflow with a roman-numeral rail. Every character is her own creation, inspired by classic fairytales and belonging to no film studio.

An invitation, not a price list

“Choose Your Magic”: three packages set like a gold-foil party invitation, $250 to $310, prices counting up as the menu unfolds. The fine print stays friend-to-friend, deposit and all.

Pixie dust, rationed

Gilded gates part on first visit, stardust trails the cursor, and a wand flies in to tap one section — once. Each trick appears exactly one time, so the page feels enchanted instead of busy.

“Magical to a five-year-old. Trustworthy to the one holding the credit card.”
